Tēnā koe Chris McCashin
I refer to your email of 28 September 2022 in which you requested the following under the
Official Information Act 1982 (OIA):
In early February less than 3 weeks before the war in Ukraine began Joe Biden was on
camera quoting the following
"If Russia invades Ukraine then there will be no longer a Nordstream 2, we will bring
an end to it"
"I promise you, we will be able to do it"
Victoria Nuland a high level Biden official is also on camera noting the following in
January
"If Russia invades Ukraine one way or another Nordstream 2 will not move forward"
Now since the pipelines have exploded the media is already out saying Russia has
sabotaged the pipelines. Now this would be stupid, anyone with a brain wouldn't do
that. Why would he blow up his leverage over Europe - it makes no sense.
Based on this are you able to provide
- How do MFAT verify the legitimacy of information coming out of the USA based on
historical invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan being on false pretences - please provide
process documents
- Please provide any and all correspondence available from Nato, western allies
suggesting that Russia sabotaged their own leverage rather than the more obvious
whereby America have done it
- USA who is currently bankrupt are funding the war - they appear to be the party
looking to escalate this conflict
- If it appears the US are responsible for this act of Environmental Terrorism what is
New Zealands position on supporting an ally responsible for a massive amount of
methane emissions in a climate crisis
- Please provide any and all correspondence associated with Russia sabotaging their
own pipeline and the reasons they would do this
- Please provide any and all correspondence associated with USA sabotaging the
pipeline and reasons
- If USA are responsible which is more than likely the case is it time to severe ties with
them as an ally given their historical war crimes - what is the tipping point to severe
ties with them
- Please provide any reports on unintended consequences associated with impact on
environment, escalation to nuclear war
